     Hace dos semanas los maestros en la escuela donde trabajo, recibimos entrenamiento por parte de la policía local sobre asesinatos masivos y como reaccionar.      Cuando tomamos ese entrenamiento, no teníamos ni idea que exactamente una semana después, estaríamos escuchando la noticia de otra balacera masiva dentro de una escuela, en donde 17 personas murieron y otras más resultaron heridas. Fue un 14 de febrero lleno de sangre que el país no debe olvidar. Y por lo que se ve, las víctimas que quedaron vivas no van a dejar que se olvide, o al menos eso espero yo.

Como maestra, como mamá y como ciudadana de un país en donde hay casi el mismo número de armas que de ciudadanos, (entre 240 y 310 millones de armas) me uno a la lucha en contra de la prohibición de los rifles de asalto automáticos y semiautomáticos.
